Simple Black and Pearl Snatcher. Allan Liddle loves this pattern, and it has served him well from it's birthplace of the one and only Loch Leven ("The Loch") through all manner of lochs and stillwaters for both wild and stocked trout alike.
Allan likes to keep his snatchers sparse in the hackle as per the original, sometimes with a sparse Deer hair head ( as per the very original, which was designed to fish as an emerging buzzer).

Hackle: Black saddle cock ( tip, strip one side and keep turns open as this helps keep the hackle sparse)
