Semper fidelis (Latin pronunciation: [ˈsɛm.pɛr fɪˈdeː.lɪs]) is a Latin phrase that means "always faithful" or "always loyal". It is the motto of the United States Marine Corps usually shortened to Semper fi. It is also in use as a motto for towns, families, schools, and military units. When developing the materials we were developing specifically for fly tying and fly tyers. Hence the company name becoming Semperfli “always faithful, always Fli”

We at Semperfli, a UK based fly tying materials manufacturer are very proud of our materials; indeed it is our goal is to design the finest fly tying materials possible. We want to offer tyers a brand that umbrellas innovation, quality, passion and all with unrivalled customer service.

We are also very proud of our international Pro Team. They do a wonderful job of showcasing our materials at exhibitions, clubs, classes and on social media. These guys are experts in their field and we respect their knowledge so very much so we work closely with them. Only the finest fly tyers get to join our Pro Team.

But our Pro Team are much more involved with us. They actually help steer the products! We have an Annual Conference called Fly Jam where our team of Pro Tyers work with our Product Development Team to evaluate materials for the coming year. The result is materials that are tested, proven and developed specifically for fly tyers by fly tyers.
